props for punctuation

so i've decided not to fight the almighty legal department and just give in to their demands

that means you can expect at least a few more blogs out of me in order to fulfill my obligation

what i will however fight is cnn's refusal to use proper capitalization and punctuation in her blog

sheer laziness

normally of course i would end that statement with an exclamation point for emphasis but since i'm writing this to make a point in the hopes that she decides to change i cant

join with me in my quest for props for punctuation

again I would have probably used quotes around that but alas i cant

well i think that is enough for today to satisfy the lawyers

A letter I received from the Legal Dept.

March 27th, 2006

TO: Chuck Beebe - Head writer MisAdventures of Chuck Blog

FROM: MisAdventuresofChuck Legal Department


Dear Mr. Beebe,

It is my duty to inform you that your premature departure on March 22, 2006 as head writer of "The MisAdventuresofChuck" blog is in direct violation of your contract, which has not yet expired. As a result you risk the potential of forfeiting any year end (ie - contract end) bonuses, being held liable for damage to the blog, legal fees and assorted other mumbo-jumbo.

Additionally you must return and fulfill the final 2 weeks of your contract or we will be forced to take additional legal steps to recoup damages resulting from your departure.

Furthermore, you must immediately cease and desist in any writing that you may be doing for any other blogs, as this is in direct violation of your "non-competition" clause.

We expect your immediate response and cooperation in these matters.

SURPRISE!

So, to answer the question that AKJN asked me in comment #66 of my so-called "final blog" (I bid you all adieu)

Well the answer is pretty close to what it is every other day. What I mean by that is the numbers haven't really dropped yet - you all seem to continue to drop by!

Is it hope?

Desperation?

Crackblog withdrawal?

You know, getting weaned from crackblog is a very difficult task. Apparently even for the dealer....

Anyway, I had a laugh at your expense and figured the least I could do is try to return the favor and give you one at mine.

Besides, I got a phone call from Peck's wife complaining that since I stopped blogging, he no longer has a creative outlet to express himself.

He can't sleep.

He eats nothing but FruitLoops and MiniRavioli.

At night, he walks around the house mumbling comments out loud, to blogs that have never been written.

He has imaginary conversations with PinF.

It's all very serious. So I told her I'd be happy to help out!


Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, now doesn't that feel better!
